Meditation is a great way to calm the spirit and the mind.  Through meditation improve focus and concentration as well as increasing our endurance and coping skills for the stressors that life sends us.  
There are several ways to meditate and i like to incorporate as many ways as possible.  Anything from simply breathing in and out to adding different sounds, movements, or visualizations can add to your meditation routine.

Now offering a weekly meditation class for kids!!

Fridays, March 24th thru May 5th 4:30 pm

An introduction to awareness, mindfulness and mediation for children and families.
This is a 6 week session that meets weekly for 1 hour.   

Each week we will explore a new concept by integrating hands on crafts, games, breathing techniques and a final mediation and or guided imagery that can be done at any time to help get them started with the building blocks needed for self regulation, attention and focus, and emotional intelligence.

Your child will build their skills in awareness, mindfulness, and compassion by practicing techniques such as breathing, relaxation, and the use of there imagination.  

Children will create there own personal meditation space,  learn deep breathing techniques, increase there endurance for sitting still, improve ability to focus, explore the nature of there emotions and thoughts.
